Indico Usage - startup ++++++++++++++++++++++ ---- Jeeva 1. The URL link is: 1.1 http://www.hecr.tifr.res.in/agendaserver or simply 1.2 www.hecr.tifr.res.in/agendaserver 2. Home page of Indico: 2.1 This page is 'Display page' 2.2 On clicking the Events displayed here the Description, Location(Address) and the Room for the particular event is shown. 3. Login Page: 3.1 Clicking 'login' Button(right-top) a login page is shown. 3.2 A new user can click on 'here' on the second line and register as a new indico user. 3.3 A mail is sent to the user's mail id for self activation. 3.4 The user has to activate from the link provided in his mail from the indico. 3.5 He can then log in immediately. 4. Authorisaton: 4.1 Presntly the guest users(without logging in) and registered users are only allowed to view the details/descriptions of existing Meetings, Lectures and Conferences. 4.2 Selected Users can be given special privileges by the 'admin' account of the indico manager to create Meetings, Lectures and Conferences by themselves. 5. Few other Details: 5.1 There is always an 'Indico logo' on the left-top of the webpages of application. Clicking on it brings the user to the "Indico Homepage" or 'Display' page. 5.2 There is a 'Login icon' on the right-top of the webpage which is to login to the application. Once logged in the "User Name" appears with the logout button. The point to note is on clicking on the "User Name", one can modify their password, email id etc which they had given while registering. 5.3 There is the indico manager's mail id in the webpage for support or enquiry. 5.4 This page can be seen from the Web/ internet outside TIFR network also. 5.5 There is also the 'help' link in the application for creating events and using Indico.
